INGREDIENTS
3 cloves of garlic
3 onions
bay leaf
2 bouillon cubes or stock
6 cups water
1 tbs minced ginger
1 tsp Italian seasoning
2 cooked potatoes, smashed or sliced in cubes
(optional)
1 tsp turmeric (optional)
salt and pepper to taste
squeeze of fresh lemon
METHOD
1.Saute onions, ginger and garlic in olive oil
2. Add salt and turmeric to saute
3. Add water, bay leaf, potatoes and bouillon and simmer until done (approx 20 minutes)
4. Add squeeze of lemon
5. Salt and pepper to taste
6. Enjoy
