Loaded with vitamins and anti oxidants, these super foods are said to boost immunity, fight heart disease and help the brain. Why not enjoy them in a delicious colorful smoothie? Here’s my recipe 😋
Ingredients
1 cup of blueberries, fresh or frozen
1 cup of strawberries or mixed berries
1 cup of green tea
1/4 banana
1/2 cup of canned pineapple with juice
1/2 tsp of organic protein powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
a squeeze of lime
A slice of ginger
ice
Combine all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth. Add more green tea or honey to sweeten if necessary. Serve with a dollop of yogurt on top. 😋
If you don’t have all the ingredients, feel free to mix it up a bit. You could compensate for pineapple by using honey and you can skip the banana altogether if you don’t have one. Frozen berries always keep in the freezer, so keep them stocked! 🙂
