FILLER
- 2 1/2 c veggie ground beef
- 1 veggie sausage link
- 4 c shredded cabbage or coleslaw mix
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1/2 tsp fennel
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tbs soy sauce
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1 onion
- 1 c cooked rice
- 1/2 c of sauce below
HOW TO MAKE FILLER
- Saute onion and garlic in olive oil
- Add salt and pepper
- Add veggie sausage and veggie ground beef
- Stir until mixed
- Remove from pan
- Add cabbage and cook 2-3 min
- Add remaining ingredients, except sauce
- Add veggie meat mixture to pan
- Stir in sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
SAUCE
- 1 c petite diced tomatoes 🍅
- 1 c spaghetti sauce
- 3 cloves garlic
- Chopped onion
- Squeeze of fresh lemon 🍋
- Salt and pepper to taste
METHOD
- Cook Cabbage leaves in boiling water 2-3 minutes
- Roll filler in cooked cabbage leaves or green leaves of choice
- Add onions, garlic salt and pepper to skillet or dutch oven
- Add red sauces, stir
- Add rolled stuffed cabbage
- Simmer 15-20 minutes
