Green Smoothie Recipe

This is my all time favorite beverage! Not only are you bulking up on fruits and vegetables, it’s the perfect complement to a night time snack with popcorn or as a power burst after a workout.

Loaded with A, K, C, B6 and calcium kale is a must have in your diet. Spinach, another superfood, is a great source of vitamin k, magnesium, iron and phosphate. After being on the road for a few days, I go right to the grocery store to load up on greens to make this delicious, vitamin packed smoothie! 😋

Ingredients

1-2 cups of kale and/or spinach

1/2 banana

1/2 can of pineapple

a squeeze of fresh lime

1/2 cup to a cup of green tea (or water)

a slice of ginger

ice

How to make a green smoothie?

Just blend all ingredients above in a blender and enjoy! 😉

Makes 3-4 glasses.
